Horror films these days have some of the most devoted fans ever, and some characters have become instant classics. The next most terrifying thing than a masked maniac with a machete or a serial killer armed with a knife would have to be the children. In most horror films these days, the children are the ones making the victims run in fear. From Tamara “The Ring” or even Regan “The Exorcist”, these kids would be enough to make the scariest monsters in films shiver with fear.
Linda Blair is best-known for the possessed child character Regan from The Exorcist films, in which she had won a Golden Globe award and an Oscar nomination for a Best Supporting Actress.
Before landing her role of Marissa Cooper on the Fox show “The O.C.”, Mischa Barton portrayed a frightening ghost by the name of Kyra Collins in the horror film The Sixth Sense.
His first ever role was the main Gage Creed in the horror flick “Pet Sematary”. After this role he gained a recurring role of Aaron Bailey in “Full House” before he returned to the horror world again in “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare” as Heather Langenkamp’s son Dylan Porter.

He still makes appearances at conventions today.

Yuya Ozeki made everyone uneasy as the creepy child Toshio Saeki in the 2004 horror film “The Grudge”. This wasn’t his first time portraying this character; he also played him in “Ju-on: The Grudge” and “Ju-on: The Grudge 2” in Japan.

Danny Lloyd’s most memorable role is the child Danny Torrance in the 1980 horror classic “The Shining”. Lloyd retired from acting and chose to live a normal teen life.
